Uncle Su takes its design cues from respected Chinese tradition, the Australian landscape and the quintessential energy of the Gold Coast.
Think traditional Chinese design elements and bespoke handcrafted materials like oversized lanterns, a golden money tree and beautiful koi fish motifs, all bathed in a sea of red, gold, cool ocean blue and jade green.
The design reflects both traditional and modern aesthetics through the mix of raw, handcrafted materials, rich polished stones and reflective metals. Starting with a traditional Chinese colour palette, ocean hues were introduced to inject elements of the Australian landscape whilst still maintaining an authentic and prosperous aesthetic.
From day to night, the space will be an everchanging landscape that ignites curiosity around every corner. The guest experience is enhanced by an animated entry portal through to the consideration of the live seafood display and centrally located money tree.
The result is an enchanting space that will evoke a sense of happiness and contentment to all who visit.
