Plus appoints new Associates, Sector Leader, Seniors Living

Following on from the launch of the Plus Architecture Perth Studio, and the appointment of key design leaders around Australia, Plus is excited to announce several internal appointments to the Plus Melbourne leadership team.

Experienced design leader Brett Duke (L) has been appointed to the position of Associate, in recognition of his front end design work and project leadership on a large cross-section of Plus projects. With expertise in concept design, master planning, project management, multi-residential, mixed use and commercial projects, Brett will be applying his outstanding design ethos in his new role as Associate.

“Brett is a committed design leader who delivers critical detailed design input and guidance to the whole Plus team, and this promotion is a well-deserved recognition of his hard work and dedication,” said Director of Plus Architecture Ian Briggs.

Mei Yang (M) has also been appointed to the role of Associate. Mei is a highly experienced architect with over 10 years’ experience in architecture, interior fit-out, hospitality and retail design and has a strong commitment to achieving a balance between considered design and built outcomes.

“Mei is an exacting architect with an unswerving commitment to accuracy. She’s an integral part of the Plus leadership team and we’re delighted to be appointing her to the position of Associate,” said Briggs.

Additionally, experienced Project Architect Nicholas Antoniou (R) has been appointed to Sector Leader, Seniors Living. He specialises in developing and master planning Seniors Living projects, and has worked on multiple vertical retirement communities across the eastern seaboard of Australia, including landmark developments for some of Australia’s largest Retirement Village developers and operators.

With an eye for composition and a commitment to ensuring his projects leave a significant mark on the city’s skyline, Antoniou has been responsible for delivering the exemplary Gravity Tower – the first high rise multi-residential development in Melbourne’s emerging precinct, Fisherman’s Bend.

“As Seniors Living evolves, Plus is at the forefront through our emphasis on co-design, understanding and innovation,” said Antoniou. “With design led initiatives delivering perceptive solutions, Plus is crafting elegant and forward-thinking solutions for this sector.”
