Project Architect

LOCATION | Melbourne

Located in a beautifully refurbished heritage building in Melbourne’s CBD, our Melbourne team are passionate about delivering great projects, building solid relationships with our clients, and, importantly, doing this all while fuelled by good coffee. Originally formed in 1997 to deliver arguably one of Melbourne’s largest master planning projects, NewQuay, we continue to be involved in the design and delivery of key design projects of significance across Victoria.

General requirements of the role:

·         Day to day management and delivery of projects including relationship management and ensuring the project is delivered on time and on budget

·         Ensure design intent is succinctly captured and interpreted into a practical plan for successful delivery and execution

Our ideal candidate will need to be or have the following:

·         Demonstrated local experience

·         Relevant qualifications and industry experience – we are looking for a minimum of 5 years of post-degree professional experience for this position

·         Passion for design and a commitment to achieving high quality design outcomes

·         Advanced technical knowledge and exceptional documentation skills

·         Strong Revit skills

·         Expert experience in Adobe Creative Suite: Indesign, Photoshop

·         Demonstrated ability to liaise with all project stakeholders in a constructive and professional manner

·         Willingness to be a hands-on team player

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Capability leading a small team is an advantage

Candidates must demonstrate confidence and be comfortable to work creatively under pressure and to deadlines. We are looking for someone with a demonstrated high level of integrity, maturity, and diplomacy. We work hard but we don’t take ourselves too seriously – having a strong work ethic (and a sense of humour!) will get you far in this position.
