| Located in Prospect, Launceston, the concept masterplan features approximately 150 retirement villas and community centre. The site for this proposed design has a long history and connection to the timber industry of Tasmania.The timber stacks still existing on the site have become a reference point for the design and there has been a general theme of linear timber elements woven into the proposed community centre and villa facades. Community facilities include tennis court, swimming pool and bowling green, together with café, conference and function rooms, lounge and library for residents. |
