New Associates join Plus Architecture leadership team in Brisbane, Melbourne studios

Kicking off the new year in style, Plus is excited to announce several internal and external appointments to the Plus Architecture leadership team in Melbourne and Brisbane.

Experienced interior design leader Hugh Harris has joined Plus Architecture’s Brisbane studio as Senior Associate. A design expert with many years of experience in workplace, interior design, and architecture, Hugh joins the team to help lead the firm’s growth throughout Queensland.

“We’re incredibly excited to have Hugh on board,” said Danny Juric, Director of Plus Architecture’s Brisbane studio. “His workplace design expertise and business development acumen will prove an invaluable asset as Plus Architecture expands throughout south east Queensland.”

Also joining the associate team in Brisbane is Christopher Wicht. Christopher is a highly experienced project architect with over 10 years’ experience in architecture, interior fit-out, hospitality and retail design and has a strong commitment to achieving a balance between considered design and built outcomes. His work with Plus has cemented his position as a project leader.

“Chris’s well-earned promotion to the position of Associate is a direct reflection of his expertise and hard work,” said Juric. “As the firm continues to grow, leaders like Chris will be integral to our ongoing success.”

In Plus Architecture’s Melbourne studio, architect and Sector Leader of Seniors Living Nicholas Antoniou, and project architect Daniel Wallis have both been appointed to the position of Associate.

Nicholas Antoniou specialises in developing and master planning Seniors Living projects, and has worked on multiple vertical retirement communities across the eastern seaboard of Australia, including landmark developments for some of Australia’s largest Retirement Village developers and operators.

“Seniors today are much more discerning and if operators and developers want to capture that market, they need to provide for it with a much more tailored product,” said Antoniou. “With design led initiatives delivering perceptive solutions, Plus is crafting elegant and forward-thinking solutions for this sector.”

Helping to lead Plus Architecture’s renowned documentation team, Daniel Wallis’ leadership, attention to detail and commitment to accurate delivery has helped cement Plus’s reputation as the best documentation architects in the business.

“Daniel’s project leadership skills are second to none, and this promotion is a well-earned recognition of his ongoing dedication to Plus Architecture’s excellent documentation and delivery services,” said Director of Plus Architecture Rainer Strunz.
