The site has a historically significant façade in the Bay Street frontage exemplifying Port Melbourne’s early industrious heritage.

101 Bay St is on track for  completion in the last quarter of 2012.

The design response takes on a duality of form that wraps around itself on elevation.The white rectilinear form harmoniously juxtaposes with a strong, dark curvaceous body that drapes over the lower form.
Appointed like a boutique hotel, Society offers a sophisticated lobby with doorman, ground floor food and beverage precinct including a reception bar and the Suds launderette. The entire building is managed through an intranet from a residential concierge to an in-room music selection.

Residents are encouraged to linger in the sophisticated Society lobby bar, very much like a boutique hotel. Alternatively, residents can choose to work or catch up on the day’s digital social networking in the specifically designed private laptop pods.

The impressive lobby and courtyard bar leads out to a tranquil landscaped bamboo garden. Catch the elevator to the top floor where a glamorous dining room awaits to entertain guests, featuring a generous outdoor balcony complete with roof top spas for the ultimate roof deck, pool or dinner party. A residents gymnasium is also on level 12.
