An ESD Practice
24.08.2008| Plus Architecture embrace and champion environmentally sustainable principles within our design culture and practice. We aim to be recognised for delivering quality architecture that is ESD responsive. At Plus we extend our commitment to environmental sustainability to our own office. We have a minimal car usage policy. The majority of our staff commute to the office via public transport or on bikes, even our directors.
We understand that to make ESD successful we need to have a holistic approach to coordinating and integrating ESD principles at all stages of the design and building process. We aim to help our clients identify areas for improvement and work with them to facilitate the change. |

3 Tier Approach to ESD
24.08.2008| Plus Architecture is committed to best practise ESD resolution in all our projects.
We encourage a three tier approach to ESD: From a macro level, Director Rainer Strunz is a Greenstar Accredited Professionals who is committed to utilising the best practice ESD in all our buildings. The second is from detailed engineering solutions. To ensure delivery of a complete ESD solution, the Mechanical, Electrical and Hydraulic designs must work together. We work closely with all of the services Greenstar Accredited Professionals to ensure the input and coordination of their ideas. The third level is through constant review. We propose using an external ESD consultant to constantly review our designs to look for ways of improving the ESD outcome and to determine the pre-assessment rating. |
