The 43-square-metre apartment that Katherine O’Byrne, 25, and Theo Christian, 27, rent in a newly completed block in Elsternwick, nine kilometres southeast of Melbourne’s city centre, might never be built again if Victoria implements minimum apartment guidelines next year, according to the building’s architect and apartment owner Craig Yelland.
